Job Summary

The Laser Operator sets up and operates laser cutting, marking, and combination equipment to produce parts from job specifications. The role calls for attention to detail, safe equipment practices, and a focus on accurate, consistent work. Experience with the listed machines is a plus, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

Review job instructions and prepare materials for processing.
Set up and operate laser equipment for assigned work.
Monitor machine operation and inspect finished parts.
Identify quality issues and report equipment concerns.
Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain an orderly work area.
Your impact: Accurate processing helps downstream teams receive parts that meet job requirements.

Skills

Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort operating production equipment.
Ability to read work instructions and follow process details.
Careful visual inspection and attention to part quality.
Reliable communication and a safety-conscious approach.
Familiarity with any of these machines is a plus: TRUMPF TruLaser 5040; Salvagnini S-30; Bodor 6 kW; TRUMPF TruMatic 6000 / 5000; TruLaser Tube 7000; TruLaser Cell 7040 / 8030; or TruMark Station 5000.
